Apple is extending its push into sports with a dedicated Apple Sports app. The free app is now live on the App Store in the U.S, Canada and the U.K and offers play-by-play updates, stats, box scores and betting odds, the latter of which can be disabled by the user. The app comes in at 15.6MB and can be installed on any iPhone running iOS 17.2 or later.

Users can select their favorite sports league and teams from the setup screen and the app will automatically present past and upcoming games for the selected teams. If you’ve aleady selected your favorite teams and leagues in the Apple News or Apple TV apps, you’ll get the option to transfer them to Apple Sports. Users who’ve signed up to sports streaming platforms will be able to tune in to live games directly from the score cards.

Apple Sports currently supports the following leagues:

  • MLS
  • NBA
  • NCAA basketball (men’s and women’s)
  • NHL
  • Bundesliga
  • LaLiga
  • Liga MX
  • Ligue 1
  • Premier League
  • Serie A

Apple also confirmed it will add the following leagues for the upcoming season:
