Samsung announced Galaxy AI with One UI 6.1 is reaching its latest foldables and the Galaxy S23 series. The company revealed that the Tab S9 lineup of tablets will also receive the trendy new features through a software update:
The goal for Samsung is to make AI more accessibl. This is only the beginning, as the plan is to bring Galaxy AI to over 100 million Galaxy users within 2024, the company said.
One of the major features that Galaxy AI brings is Chat Assist, which adjusts message tone and translates messages into 13 different languages. There is also Live Translate, which translates calls on the go, and Interpreter does the same but on the device with a split-screen interface for translating live conversations.
There is also Circle to Search with Google, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, and Transcript Assist features for seamless user experience in day-to-day tasks. The AI-supported devices can realign objects in photos for a better shot with Generative Edit, and there is also Instant Slow-mo that generates additional frames for slow-motion videos of action-packed moments.
The One UI 6.1 update should already be hitting devices all across the globe. If you own one of the phones listed above but haven’t received a notification, head to Software Update in Settings and tap Download and Install, where the update should appear in the following days.
