A video was released on Despicable Me 4’s official X account. In the video, Carell explains that this animated feature is just the beginning for the super-serum minions. The Megaverse is a series of “projects” featuring the Mega Minions. Unlike superhero franchises, which only provide titles and release dates, the Megaverse has detailed loglines for each title on the official website.

Upcoming Megaverse Projects
For example, in 2027, a Mega Minions solo film will be released. This film will show the five minions proving themselves worthy to the Anti-Villain League. In 2034, a jukebox musical titled “Mega Minions Mega Musical!” will be released. Additionally, a TV show about the Mega Minions is set to debut in 2101. The plot of this show remains a secret.

The Despicable Me and Minions franchises are crucial to Illumination’s success. The detailed release schedule for the Megaverse is a significant move. It will be interesting to see if these projects come to life.

Returning Cast and Release Date
