We’ve got an exclusive clip of Hotel Cocaine Season 1 Episode 7 for everyone spending their summer in Miami’s past when cocaine was flowing freely without fear of fentanyl overdoses.

Who would have thought such a volatile time would one day be looked at as the good old days for drug users and cartels?

In this world, Nestor has a problem bringing in a massive shipment of cocaine, and Roman may have a solution.

Is a solution relying on Burton the best he can come up with? It appears so, and we can’t blame him. Burton is fun, and although he has extremely limited resources at the moment, he’s got many connections.

He also has unused family lands and (and this part is oh, so helpful) a family that treasures its privacy more than most overlords.

Roman should seek Burton’s help with a landing spot for the cocaine, not just from a business perspective but also because it’s far more entertaining for us!

Mark Feuerstein, who we adored for years on USA Network’s Blue Sky show Royal Pains, is showing us a new side of himself, and we can’t get enough. He’s a literal scene stealer in Hotel Cocaine.

That holds true for our exclusive clip, too, which finds Roman revealing his dilemma and Burton rising to the occasion to help a drug lord out as you do when you’re trying to save your beloved smash of a hotel and lounge from bankruptcy.

But while Burton lets the good times roll, things are not all well between Roman and Nestor.

After Congressman Landon was brutally blown to bits during Hotel Cocaine Season 1 Episode 7, Nestor looks guilty, and that kills Roman.

They had a plan, and like any diabolical villain amidst superheroes trying to eradicate them, Nestor walked his own path, ending a man’s life and taking a father away from a boy.

But Nestor isn’t diabolical or a villain. He’s nuanced, and his humanity makes watching him in action more compelling than watching someone like Homelander on The Boys.

Still, what Nestor did doesn’t sit well with Roman, even if Nestor’s rationale for the killing was due to Landon’s tacit support of Henao and their Castro/Cuban connection.

Zulio works with a corrupt banker to return Henao and Yolanda to the negotiating table. Nestor reveals a secret.

I’m not sure that Nestor needs to fess up because Roman isn’t an innocent with his eyes closed to the ways of Nestor’s business. If they were, Roman wouldn’t have cut ties with his brother.

Still, this is the episode of Hotel Cocaine where Nestor admits to Roman that his cocaine business funds his never-ending battle against Castro.

From Roman’s perspective, without the Congressman’s protection, the deal is off, and their families are in danger. They’ve already been under the line of fire once. Will Landon’s death spark an even bigger war?

So, Roman turns to his boss for a new landing spot for the cocaine, while Zulio works with Henao’s banker, Ray Dorado, to bring back Henao and Yolanda to the table.

Roman convinces Nestor to accept a deal with the Colombians to salvage the fragile peace and even seduces Yolanda to lure her back into the deal.

Don’t be shocked, but this doesn’t sit well with Marisol, and their already rocky relationship might not survive.

Valeria is in an awful place now, too, as her boyfriend’s father was just killed by her uncle. Talk about a Romeo and Juliet situation!

By the time Roman and Nestor meet with Henao and Yolanda at The Mutiny to restore the deal, they’ll lose their leading edge, even if they don’t know it going into the meeting.

The Colombians will agree to the deal, but the caveat may be more than Roman and Nestor can bear.

This is a significant and exciting episode, as revelations bring unsuspecting people out of darkness, engaging them in a new world with life-and-death consequences.

As you can imagine, the story catapults from there.

Nobody in Roman’s orbit will be the same. Reuniting with his brother has revealed some hard truths, and everyone he loves is in danger.

Behind every dazzling display that keeps jet setters up at all hours of the night is a network trying to keep the party going. This is just one such story.

Be sure to watch Hotel Cocaine on Sunday nights at 9/8c only on MGM+ to see how it all unfolds.
