According to a new post by noted leakster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is planning to release its flagship for 2025, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, earlier than usual. If all goes well, the phone will launch in January.
Xiaomi might be trying to capture a larger wave of new buyers next year with its flagship phone and potentially compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is expected to arrive in January as well.
Xiaomi’s Ultra models tend to come out in China a few months before making their debuts globally, but next year might be different.
The trend has been shaping up for a while now. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra came out in July, the 13 Ultra came out in April and this year’s 14 Ultra was released in February. So, a new release in January might not be too far fetched.
