Fire Country fans have been in anguish during the long wait for Fire Country Season 3 to air. We’ll finally have an answer to perhaps the year’s biggest question.

Fire Country Season 3 Episode 1 spoilers post discusses all the theories fanatics came up with after the cliffhanger from Fire Country Season 2. The title for the third season’s premiere gives it to us straight.

We’re finally going to know “What the Bride Said.”

What Did the Bride Say?

When Fire Country ended its sophomore season — in a major slump — Gabriela and Diego were standing at the alter preparing to say their vows.

But while they said their I do’s, we were busy watching Manny get handcuffed and put into the back of a police vehicle. So, theoretically, they may or may not be married when Fire Country returns.

We know from the promos that the third season is returning with a bang. Should Gabi consider it divine intervention that her wedding crasher turns out to be a helicopter that literally crashes her wedding?

Maybe the universe is telling her she’s marrying the wrong man!

I may get hate for this next comment, but it won’t be the first time. But I’m sure I’ll have supporters who agree as well.

I hope Gabriela and Diego did get married.

Will Bode Be a Firefighter Again?

Bode is fresh out of prison. The last thing he needs to focus on is a relationship. He still has to find his way back into the fire department. It can’t be as simple as his dad or mom hiring him.

While the show is no stranger to nepotism, Vince and Sharon believe in following the rules. Most of the time.

But Bode doesn’t need an official fire department title to be a firefighter. In the Fire Country Season Two finale, he saved a young boy while working at a construction site.

Heroism is what Bode does best.

It’s like opportune moments have a way of finding him. Or maybe the entirety of all those involved with Station 42. Looks like none of the firefighters can catch a day off. Even when they’re trying to celebrate a wedding, fire finds them.

We know Bode was attending Gabriela’s wedding. It looked like he was going to do the right thing and keep his feelings to himself so she could marry another man.

Bravo! Bode’s personal growth since the first season has been impressive and moving.

And from the promo photos floating around before the season launch, we also know Bode will be helping the rest of the rescue crew handle the crashed helicopter scene.

So naturally, he’s not going to stand around and watch. He’s going to get his hands dirty and save some lives. Maybe his unaffiliated assistance will make some goodwill with the powers that be who hold his career fate in their hands.

Jump into the comments section and let us know whether you want to see Bode back in action as a firefighter.

Or do you prefer he does his own thing without the strict rules and oversight of a firehouse? We’ve already got one rogue maverick firefighter coming to the show.

The Future for Bode’s Supporters

Throughout the two seasons that Fire Country has been on, we’ve seen Bode develop an impressive support squad to help him stay on the straight and narrow.

Although his biggest supporter and influence, Manny, is now trading places with Bode. While Bode is walking free among society, his mentor is back behind bars after a scuffle with Luke Leone.

Boo!

The plot line could go several ways in terms of Perez’s future. He might be able to get out of jail on probation and face disciplinary action through the fire department.

It’s possible he could get released from the fire department altogether and no longer be an official firefighter. Wouldn’t that be cute but depressing? Two ex-cons with a love of fighting fires but no official way to do it?

Or the story might go another way, increasing the already taunt tension between Manny and Gabriela. And Manny and the Leones.

Manny could get sentenced to prison time. He is an ex-con, which makes any type of arrest more difficult to dismiss without punishment. He will likely have great character references, which could reduce his sentence.

Maybe we’ll see Manny back at the Three Rock Fire Camp in Fire Country Season 3. Only this time, as the one getting ordered around instead of as the boss.

That is, if there is a Three Rock to return to.

We spent the second season seeing Eve struggling to keep the prison camp open. It was mid-season before fans learned who was trying to get the place shut down.

Luke.

And now you can understand why Manny sucker punched him, which led to his legal troubles.

The second season left off with Eve still in charge of Three Rock, replacing Manny after the fiasco with Bode’s parole violation in Fire Country Season 1. She was finally finding her footing as the Captain and getting respect from the inmates.

She was also getting the attention of the higher-ups, who offered her an impressive promotion. But because it would mean a move to Sacramento, she turned the job down.

Let’s just hope she didn’t shoot herself in the foot by sticking around for a job that she won’t have much longer.

But Eve wasn’t the only one considering a career change by the end of the season. The Station 42 Firehouse might have an opening for a new firefighter when Fire Country Season 3 Episode 1 starts.

Because Jake was trying to adopt Gene, he told Sharon he was thinking of leaving the dangers of firefighting for a safer role within the NCFD.

However, the Fire Country Season 2 finale gave Jake a life-altering blow. Bode’s new boss — and former drug dealer — is in town to meet his possible daughter.

Genevieve.

If you saw any of the too-short second season of Fire Country, you’ll know that Gene is Cara’s daughter. Who was Jake’s fiance. And Bode’s ex-girlfriend.

So … you guessed it. We spent the majority of the second season assuming Bode was the long-lost father. He was ready to step up and be a great one once Cara died and gave him custody.

But neither Genevieve nor Jake agreed with Cara’s decision. The duo wanted Uncle Jake to become Daddy Jake and (not) Daddy Bode to become Uncle Bode.

After some tension between him and Jake (we’re used to that, right?), Bode showed his newfound maturity and stepped aside.

Seriously, the writers have a major obsession with Bode losing the women in his life.

Not that Jake fares any better. He lost Gabriela to Bode, who lost her to Diego. Then Jake lost Cara to a severe injury sustained during a rescue mission. And just as he’s ready to try a new career path, he might lose the daughter he’s come to claim.

I want to hear from you here, fans.

What do you think of Jake transferring jobs to a safer role? Do you hope he keeps fighting fires? And do you want him to adopt Gene?

It’s been an agonizing wait to find out if Vince Leone will return to fighting fires. Since the new season picks up during the wedding where we left off, Vince is still on medical leave due to his heart issues.

First, it was Sharon with her kidney in Fire Country Season 1. Fire Country Season 2 was about Vince’s health issues and stubborn refusal to confess.

Will there be a health emergency in the third season?

Speaking of Sharon, she’d stepped up and took over Vince’s responsibilities once he had to step down during the campaign fire in Fire Country Season 2 Episode 9.

She had the time since she’d resigned from her role as CFD Batallion Chief. A role that went to Vince’s snake brother, Luke. The position gave him the authority to try and close Three Rock.

And what got him justifiably punched in the face.

But now that it’s all out in the open, Sharon announced her intentions to Luke outside the wedding. She’s taking her job back.

So does that mean Station 42 will need a new fire chief until Vince returns? Will Luke get a demotion and end up in power at the station? Or will we be meeting a new addition to the team?
