On Wednesday (Oct. 16), Safaree Samuels attempted to clear the “deadbeat dad” allegations by his children’s mother, Erica Mena. He shared home footage of past incidents with his ex-wife, and she soon clapped back with heated words. Not even 24 hours later, Erica Mena released a video of their daughter Safire alleging her dad mistreated her brother and their son, Legend.

Erica Mena & Safaree’s Daughter Says He Did THIS

In a video Erica Mena shared, their daughter is speaking from a car seat to her mother, who asked, “What did Daddy do?” Safire responded, “Daddy kick him, my brother with two legs then he throw him around.”

Mena followed up the child’s story by asking, “When was this?” and Safire responded, “At my daddy’s.” Safire continued explaining that she allegedly saw her “daddy” kick her brother, who then fell off of an unspecified place. Erica also asked Safire to explain why Safaree Samuels kicked Legend. The child said it was because her brother got “a boo-boo.” Additionally, Safire said her dad told her he is not Legend’s father.

In the caption of the now-deleted post, Erica explained the clip and promised her supporters that she would explain the home footage and allegations SAfaree made in his YouTube exposé.

“I’ve been sparing him for so long! His triggering violating BS he has been doing for 3 years,” she wrote. Adding, “To only show my reaction to your actions but failing to tell what it is you about behind closed doors is textbook narcissist at its finest. For Safire to speak so clear on the things that you do and tell her baby brother, saying that Legend isn’t your son, which is probably why you thought of mistreating him in your home since he was a baby with no one around. How could you forget all these parts?”

Safaree Samuels has yet to react online to the mistreatment allegations Erica Mena filmed from their daughter.

Erica Shares Statement About Public Exchanges With Safaree

After posting and deleting the video of Safire, Mena shared a statement on her Instagram feed about her and Safaree’s public relationship. She said she’s astonished and filled with sorrow by how their situation has deteriorated.

“It’s truly heartbreaking to realize how far we’ve come. Every situation is ultimately tied to a cause, which inevitably leads to effects.  Nonetheless, it is crucial that I put an end to this turmoil. I am committed to taking the initiative to stop this, and I believe it would be beneficial for both parties to do so,” she wrote.

Erica added that their kids are the “center of [her] world” and that she’ll rely on the justice system to resolve their beef. “We are blessed with two beautiful children who deserve a stable and nurturing environment. As I move forward, I will continue to prioritize their long-term well-being and future happiness,” she added.

What’s Going On With The Ex-Couple?

As previously reported, Erica Mena filed for divorce from Safaree Samuels in May 2021 after two years of marriage. During their relationship, they welcomed Safire and Legend. Mena filed to end the marriage in May 2021, and it took more than a year for them to finalize the terms in Sept. 2022.

During that process and even afterward, the two have had tension both on reality TV and on social media. Mena has previously blasted Safaree’s allegedly shaky commitment to fatherhood. Most recently, Mena seemed to shade him after he attended a Nicki Minaj (his ex-girlfriend) and praised her show and his time in Gag City on social media.

This week, though, she called him out for attempting to lower his child support payments. He had previously agreed to pay $4,305 in monthly child support for both kids but was seeking a reduction due to a “significant loss of income.” Additionally, in the paperwork, Samuels said that Mena blasting him publicly for six consecutive months impacted his business dealings. She also allegedly impacted his professional life by “harassing [Safaree’s] potential costars and coworkers via multiple phone calls” with “false claims.”

Erica’s response was to put out a calendar showing all the days Safaree has spent time with their child this year, totaling 16 occasions.

Then, as mentioned, Safaree Samuels published his version of the truth on YouTube. Safaree shared home footage that showed Erica Mena blocking him from leaving a home and pushing him multiple times while their daughter and son watched nearby. Additionally, he shared a video of Erica using a ladder to jump his closed fence and pound on his house door.

He also detailed his attempt to file a restraining order against her and shut down her deadbeat dad allegations. Mena didn’t just let his videos slide.  She responded with several paragraphs accusing him of not telling the full story, including his attempts to get with her.
