Free online resource provides objective information and market transparency

The Center for Academic Faithfulness & Flourishing (CAFF) has launched the CAFF College Guide, a free online directory of over 250 Christian colleges and universities across the United States. The Guide presents independently verified results for 150 objective measures of institutional commitments, requirements, features, and performance.

“Many Christian families are searching for college options that align with their values but are unable to find comprehensive and trustworthy information. The CAFF College Guide addresses this need by providing a free and intuitive online directory that empowers prospective students and their parents to compare institutions across a wide range of shared characteristics,” said P. Jesse Rine, Executive Director of CAFF.

Users of the Guide can apply various filters to narrow results and then explore in-depth profiles for colleges and universities that match their search parameters. Popular details include the college’s location, theological tradition, spiritual life program, campus policies, academic majors, varsity sports, acceptance rate, and cost of attendance.

Rine also noted, “There is no end to the number of college rankings available to the public. We aim to provide something different. Instead of making value judgements about institutions, we simply report the results of our research so that families can make their own informed decisions. No grades, no scores, no rankings—just trustworthy information.”
