NBC launched the first teaser trailer for its prison drama, The Hunting Party, and we’re pretty excited about it.

It’s got a great cast and looks like the action-packed drama will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Who doesn’t love a good thriller?

Manifest actress Melissa Roxburgh leads The Hunting Party as Bex Henderson, a former FBI agent in charge of the mission to recapture the fugitives who escaped a top-secret prison break.

This suspenseful prison drama follows Bex’s team of investigators as they track down these dangerous serial killers who have just escaped from the Pit, a top-secret government prison that’s not supposed to exist.

It gets even more exciting when Bex learns, as she chases down these dangerous criminals that the Pit is more than a prison.

As the haunting rendition of “One Way Or Another” plays in the trailer, it’s described as a classified facility housing the world’s most violent criminals.

Yet, it was home to many of them until a bomb set them free to wreak havoc on the world again.

It’s up to Bex (Roxburgh) to solve this mystery and discover who set off the explosion and their sinister motives.

The 30-second teaser trailer showcases lots of action, including the explosion, intense fight scenes, and high-speed car chases.

Bex and her team will have their work cut out to recapture the prisoners.

In addition to Roxburgh, The Hunting Party stars Patrick Sabongui as Ryan Hassani, a CIA agent, and Josh McKenzie as Shane Florence, a prison guard at the secret facility.

Sara Garcia plays Jennifer Morales, an intel offer, while Nick Wechsler portrays Oliver Odell, Bex’s former partner, romantically and professionally.

Roxburgh had experience hunting and tracking people on Manifest, while McKenzie gained experience fighting bad guys on La Brea.

I’m excited to see them work together. This group of detectives should be a winning group as they combine their talents in this entertaining and dangerous chase with the prisoners.

Co-showrunners JJ Bailey (creator) and Jake Coburn are writers and executive producers for The Hunting Party.

The Hunting Party premieres on NBC on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 10/9c after The Voice premieres. It will stream on Peacock the next day.
