After months of fan questions, Liz Woods has set the record straight on her health struggles.
The 90 Day Fiance star’s social media followers have recently wondered about her mysterious ailment.
In a surprising turn of events, the 32-year-old candidly responded to a question from a fan who asked if she had cancer on an Instagram post shared by 90 Day Fiance blogger @Shabootydotcom.
“I’m going through treatment for it,” the TLC star declared but didn’t elaborate.
In a recent post on her Instagram account, the mother of one revealed some significant milestones and updated fans on her treatment.
“In this last week I was promoted at work, finished my last round of chemo, and accomplished my first run within the last 6 months,” she captioned a series of photos.
“Blessed,” she added alongside a praying emoji.
Liz Previously Hinted At Health Woes
There’s no telling how long Liz has been battling cancer, but there’s a possibility that she filmed for one of the various 90 Day Fiance shows and will open up about it on camera.
Sharp Entertainment, which produces the sprawling franchise, requires cast members to sign iron-clad NDAs to keep storylines away from the prying eyes of viewers.
It makes sense that fans would want to tune into the show and be surprised by the events, but many cast members have been let go for sharing too much on social media.
Brandon and Mary Dennuccio spring to mind.
When they first appeared on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Season 5, they brought so much drama that they were destined to be mainstays for a few years.
But that came crashing down when they were accused of spoiling some of their milestones and were swiftly given the pink slip, never to be seen on TLC again.
Liz first appeared in the 90 Day Fiance franchise during the freshman season of 90 Day: The Single Life, where she was caught up in a romance with notorious villain Big Ed Brown.
Their relationship had many issues, but they reached some resolution on 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort and proceeded to plan their wedding.
But there were tears on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 8, when they never made it down the aisle.
Liz Has Been Part Of Some Of 90 Day Fiance’s Most Shocking Storylines
A pre-wedding argument compelled Ed to cancel their big day, and he didn’t even think to inform his wife-to-be about the development.
The good news is that Liz got the last laugh at the show’s unprecedented five-part Tell All by introducing viewers – and Ed – to her new boyfriend, Jayson Zuniga. (video below)
Viewers immediately warmed to Jayson because he was unafraid to go up against Big Ed and because Liz was radiating happiness, which we rarely saw during her relationship with Ed.
Liz previously indicated that she wasn’t sure she’d return to the franchise because she was in a drama-free relationship, but her status as a fan favorite may have allowed her to change her plans.
