The Poco X6 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 – while not as highly regarded as the 7+ Gen 2, this chip is still plenty fast for a €300 phone. And here it is paired with a generous 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. There’s no microSD slot, but you can double the storage for €40 more.

The phone has a great 6.67” AMOLED display with 1,220 x 2,712px resolution, 12-bit colors with Dolby Vision and 120Hz refresh rate. The body is plastic and has basic IP54 resistance. The camera setup is basic too with a 64MP main (OIS) and 8MP ultra wide (118°), plus a 16MP selfie. The battery has 5,100mAh capacity and is quick to charge at 67W (78% in 30 minutes, 100% in 48 minutes, according to our tests).

The Poco M6 Pro is a dialed back version of the X6. Note that this is the 4G variant, so it is powered by the Helio G99 Ultra. This one has 512GB storage plus a microSD to go with its 12GB of RAM. The 6.67” 120Hz AMOLED display has lower FHD+ resolution and 8-bit colors. The 64+8+2MP rear camera is the same, except for the chipset’s inability to record 4K (the X6 does 4K at 30fps). The battery is more or less the same with 5,000mAh capacity and 67W fast charging (71% in 30 minutes, 100% in 48 minutes in our testing).

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE uses an Exynos 2200 in Europe and will receive 4 OS updates (one of which has already arrived) and 5 years of patches. The 256GB model is €60 more than the 128GB one and memory is not expandable (both have 8GB of RAM).

The Apple iPhone 15 is €170 more than the 128GB S23 FE, but that is still a hefty discount compared to how much it costs on apple.com. It has a 6.1” 60Hz display and the only zoom option is the in-sensor zoom on the 48MP main camera (the S23 FE has a 3x 8MP tele camera). There’s also a 12MP ultra wide, while the selfie on the front is in a Dynamic Island (Apple-talk for a pill-shaped punch hole). Wired charging isn’t super fast, but the MagSafe charger adds handy magnets to the back, which help with alignment and can carry power banks with no wires needed.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic will probably be replaced later this year, unless Samsung tries to remove the rotating bezel again like it did with the Watch5 series. Anyway, this watch has ECG and a blood pressure monitor, plus a skin temperature sensor to keep an eye on your health (note: these require a Samsung phone to work).

Below we’ve linked the Bluetooth and LTE versions in both sizes (43mm and 47mm).
