Script for ‘The Mandalorian Season 4’
Talking to ‘BFMTV INSIDE’ last year writer Jon Favreau confirmed the scripts for ‘The Mandalorian Season 4’ had been completed before season 3 came to an end. He said, “Season 4? Yeah, I’ve written it already. We have to know where we are going to tell a fully formed story. So, we had mapped it out, Dave Filoni and I. And then slowly you just write each episode.”
Plan changed?
According to ‘Screen Rant’, the plans have changed in the meantime as Favreau is busy working on ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’, the first Star Wars movie to release in theaters since 2019’s ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’. It is still not clear whether ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ will replace season 4, or if it will supplement it. Another possibility is that Lucasfilm may have a hybrid approach.
Episodes
If reports are to be believed, ‘The Mandalorian Season 4’ will have six episodes. It may culminate in a film.
Star Cast
If the fourth season takes forward the story from ‘The Mandalorian Season 3’, episode 3, Katy O’Brian’s Imperial spy Elia Kane will certainly return as the antagonist. Other members of The Mandalorian Season 3, including Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan Kryze and Emily Swallow’s Armorer, may play support role.
