The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim that we’ve been hearing about for some time now will sport a 10MP selfie camera on the cover screen and a 12MP ultrawide camera on the rear, reports GalaxyClub.

That’s the same as the Galaxy Z Fold6. However, the publication claims that unlike the 4MP under-display selfie camera on the Fold6, the Fold6 Slim – having model designation SM-F958N and codename Q6A – may feature a 5MP under-display unit.

There’s no word from Samsung about the Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim, but The Chosun Daily reports the folding smartphone will launch in South Korea “as early as September 25.” It will come in black and cost about KRW 2.8 million ($2,090).

Rumors claim the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim will be 10mm thick, which is 2.1mm thinner than the Fold6. But despite that, it will pack larger screens. The cover display is said to measure 6.5″ (vs. 6.3″) diagonally, while the folding display will have a diagonal of 8″ (vs. 7.6″).

To achieve this slimmer design, Samsung has reportedly dropped S Pen support from the Fold6 Slim by removing the 0.3mm film required for stylus functionality. It has also collaborated with Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Samsung Display to reduce the thickness and size of components like the display panel and camera module.
